David A. Dunning, 70, of Tarentum, passed away Friday, July 28, 2017 at home unexpectedly. He was born December 15, 1946 in Harrison Township son of the late Charles and Gladys L. (Reedy) Dunning. David lived most of his life in Tarentum and worked in the maintenance at Top Craft Industries. He was a veteran of Vietnam serving in the US Air Force. David was of the Protestant faith and a graduate of Tarentum High School. He enjoyed model trains and was a toy collector. David was a nature lover and enjoyed feeding all wildlife and birds. Survivors include his wife of 5 years, Rebecca S. (Legersky) Dunning; daughters Suzanne (Duane) Crumbacher,Midwest City, Oklahoma, Rebecca (Greg) Sanders, Ragley, Louisiana; grandchildren Katrina, Mercy, Amanda and Nathan; step children Sarah (Brandon) Hetherton, Rural Valley, Joshua Silvis, Tarentum, Benjamin (Jennifer) Silvis, North Apollo, Micah Silvis, Vandergrift and Kathryn (Daniel) Clawson, East Vandergrift; step grandchildren Riley, Marley, Cole, Liam, Keegan, Mason and Jonathan. Also surviving are his siblings Linda (Bob) Bolt, Natrona, Paul (Laura) Dunning, Valdosta, GA, Phyllis Leone, Staunton, VA, Fred (Nora) Dunning, Verona and Karen Beckett, Natrona Heights.
