John M "Jack" Hotkowski

December 20, 1952 — June 26, 2017

John M. "Jack" Hotkowski, 64, O''Hara Township, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, June 26, 2017 in Allegheny Valley Hospital, Natrona Heights. He was born December 20, 1952 in New Kensington, son of Veronica (Gasper) Hotkowski, Buffalo Twp. and the late Leo C. Hotkowski. He lived most of his life in Freeport, Dorseyville and O''Hara Township. Jack was the Chief Registered Nurse Anesthetist at Allegheny Valley Hospital Natrona Heights. He was a member of St. Mary of Assumption Roman Catholic Church, Glenshaw and was in the US Army and a Major in the US Air force for 20 years. Jack graduated in 1970 from Freeport High School and also a graduate of West Penn Anesthesia School of Nursing. He enjoyed traveling, golf, watching his grandchildren play sports, and he especially enjoyed spending time with his family. Survivors include his loving wife of 42 years, Bonnie A. (Krukowski) Hotkowski; children, Brian A. (Nina) Hotkowski, Shaler Twp., Traci L. (Ryan) Rich, Gibsonia and Julie M. (Todd) Johnson, Glenshaw; grandchildren Jack, Sam, Logan, Mason, Charlie, Emily, Ava and Annie. Also surviving is his Mother and his brothers, Leonard Hotkowski, Buffalo Twp. and Ron (Adina) Holland, Walnut Creek, CA., and many nieces and nephews Visitation 6-8 PM Wednesday and Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM in the Duster Funeral Home, Inc. 347 E 10th Ave, Tarentum, 724-224-1526.
