Margaret M. "Margie" Morrow, 68, of Arnold passed away Thursday August 11, 2016 at UPMC St. Margaret Hospital, Aspinwall. She was born on November 15, 1947 to the late Stephen and Mary (Jezik) Arvay. Margie is survived by her daughter, Dr. Becky Morrow, and her son-in-law, Alan Hooks, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Bernard Arvay, and her sister, Roberta "Bobbie" Delmastro. Margie attended St. Clement school, in Tarentum, and was active in service to the church and the local community. She was a 1965 graduate of Tarentum High School. Margie was an Executive Secretary for Gulf Research in Harmarville and Citizen''s General Hospital in New Kensington. Margie was a devoted mother and became very involved in founding Frankie''s Friends Cat Rescue along with her daughter. She took in and cared for two special-needs cats who were rescued from abuse. Margie served on the Board of Directors of the organization as the board Secretary and filled positions ranging from Veterinary Assistant, assisting her daughter with patients, to coordinating fundraising efforts to help homeless animals. Even as her health was failing, she continued to support the organization by baking for events and helping at the veterinary clinic.Visitation 2-4 and 6-8PM Sunday in the Duster Funeral Home, Inc. 347 E 10th Ave, Tarentum, 724-224-1526.
