John E Luther

.John E. Luther, 67, of Natrona Heights, passed away at home on Tuesday, August 09, 2016. He was born June 21, 1949 in Pittsburgh, son of the late Walter and Theresa (Driscoll) Luther, Sr. John lived most of his life in the Pittsburgh area. He was a Computer Technician for Philips Respironics in Murrysville and a Vietnam veteran serving in the US Navy. John graduated in 1967 from Penn Hills High school and was an avid fisherman. He was a Pittsburgh Sports fan, especially the Steelers. John enjoyed spending time with his family, children and grandchildren. Survivors include his wife of 24 years, Sylvie (Olivier) Luther; daughters, Jennifer M. Luther, at home and Christine M. Ferguson, Plum Boro; 2 grandsons, Alex and Drew Ferguson, Plum Boro. Also surviving are his brothers, Walter "Buddy" Luther, Jr. and family of Whitehall and Kenneth "Kenny" Luther and family of Munhall and a number of nieces and nephews. Interment will be held on Tuesday, August 16 at 1PM in the Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Cecil Twp. with military honors by the US Navy. EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT CEMETERY AT 12:30 P.M.
