Barbara A Kepple

Barbara A. (Mohney) Kepple, 89, of Tarentum, passed away Sunday, July 24, 2016 at Allegheny Valley Hospital, Natrona Heights. She was born May 26, 1927 in Vandergrift. Daughter of the late Ralph A. and Belva M. (Jack) Mohney. Barbara has lived in Tarentum for the past 37 years and prior to that North Apollo. She was a Nurse''s Aide at the former Highland Nursing Center for 10 years and was also a Homecare aide. Barbara graduated in 1945 from Vandergrift High school and enjoyed gardening, flowers and crossword puzzles. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Survivors include her daughter with whom she made her home, Kimberly A. (Kepple) Bowen; granddaughters, Brandi L. Becker, Tarentum and Ginni M. (Mark) McGregor, Brackenridge. Great grandchildren, Kierstin (Howells) and Scott Cunningham, Kylie Locchetta, Shawn Howells and Lanie Black; great great grandchildren, Logan and Carter Cunningham. Also surviving is a sister, Louise "Tootie" Morrow, Vero Beach, FL, nephew Robert Morrow, CA and a son in law Harold Butch Becker, Natrona Heights. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a grandson, Shawn R. Becker, 1995, brother, James R. Mohney and the father of her granddaughter Lanie, Terry A. Black in 2015.
