Margaret A (Bishop) Krupa

Margaret A. (Bishop) Krupa, 95, of Clifton Springs, NY and formerly of Bairdford, West Deer Twp.,PA, passed away at home on Monday, June 20, 2016. She was born April 19, 1921 in West Deer Twp., daughter of the late John and Katherine Bishop. Margaret worked as a Supervisor, Dietician in Garlock factory. She attended West Deer High School and was of the Catholic Faith. Margaret was the loving wife of the late Edmund Krupa. Married for 32 years they enjoyed a couple''s golf and bowling league and both retired from Garlock. She enjoyed crafts and donating her free time to others, volunteering for Cheerful Workers and Port Gibson Fire Department Auxiliary. Upon her move to Ashton Court, NY she continued her work and donations to House of John. Ontario County recognized her as Volunteer of the year. Survivors include her brother, Henry Bishop, Lower Burrell and nieces Paulette (Leonard) Hochbein, Cabot and Cindy (Russell) Braden, Sarver, also surviving are several nieces and nephews, grand nieces and nephews and great grand nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband Edmund Krupa, she was preceded by Sisters Clara, Ann and Catherine and brothers, Frank, John, Carl, Chester, Stanley, Larry and Anthony. Graveside services were held on Monday in Our Lady of Hope Cemetery, Frazer Twp. with Rev. Thomas L. Gillespie, MD, officiating. In Contributions may be made to a charity of choice in her name.
