Carol Jane (Blalock) Moten

Carol Jane (Blalock) Moten, 65, of New Kensington, passed away Saturday, June 18, 2016 at home. She was born November 6, 1950 in Harrison Township, daughter of the late Curtis and Marie (Sutton) Blalock. Carol lived most pf her life in the Tarentum and New Kensington area. She was employed in the Shipping and Receiving Department for Curtis Wright, formerly Westinghouse Corp in Cheswick. A member of Shiloh Baptist Church, Brackenridge and a graduate of Highlands High School in 1969 , Carol enjoyed her computer, being a homemaker and was very supportive of her church. Survivors include her brothers, Clarence Blalock of Bowie, MD and Edward Blalock, Pittsburgh and a Goddaughter Lucy. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her brothers, Willie David, Frankie and John Wesley Blalock. Visitation 6-8PM Thursday in the Duster Funeral Home, Inc. 347 E 10th Ave, Tarentum, 724-224-1526 where a service will be Friday at 11AM with her pastor, Rev. Edward Carter, Jr., officiating.
