Emma Elizabeth (Peindl) Kapezynski

October 3, 1921 — June 6, 2016

Emma Elizabeth Peindl Kapezynski, 94, formerly of Natrona Heights, passed away peacefully on June 6th. She was born October 3, 1921, in Tarentum. She lived in the local area until 2007 and then moved to the Hershey area to be near her family. She graduated from Tarentum High School and worked at PPG prior to her marriage June 8, 1946. She was married and a homemaker for 60 years. She was an avid Steelers'' fan and participated in a local bowling league. She enjoyed spending time with her family. She is survived by two sisters, Alice Jeuther and Virginia Palmer, four children, Debbie (Steve) Thomas, Gary (Rita) Kapezynski, Carol (Dan) Donovan, and MaryAnn (Paul) Curtin, five grandchildren, Heather Reznick, Forrest Kapezynski, Megan Casto, Monica Armstrong, and Riley Curtin, two great-grandchildren: Audrey Armstrong and Owen Reznick. She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren.. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Kapezynski, two brothers, John Peindl and Richard Peindl, two sisters, Martha Peindl and Dorothea Stewart. Visitation 2-4 and 6-8PM Friday in the Duster Funeral Home, Inc. 347 E 10th Ave, Tarentum, 724-224-1526 where services will be held on Saturday at 10AM with Rev. Robert B. Walker, officiating. Burial in Mt. Airy Cemetery, Natrona Heights. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Luther Care., 600 East Main Street, Lititz, PA 17543.
