Venetta E. (Breck) Harvey, 94, of Saxonburg, passed away Monday, June 6, 2016 at Good Samaritan Hospice of Wexford. She was born September 6, 1921 in Brackenridge, daughter of the late Joseph Neville and Mamie (Omland) Breck, Claypool. Venetta lived most of her life in Buffalo Twp., and the past 17 years in Saxonburg. She was a homemaker and also worked as a Telephone operator in Tarentum for 5 years. Venetta was a member of St. Paul''s Lutheran Church in Buffalo Twp. and Buffalo Twp. Sr. Citizens. She graduated in 1939 from Tarentum High School and was a great homemaker. She also enjoyed sewing, gardening, canning and arts and crafts. Survivors include her daughters, Marjorie H. (David) Kasper, Moon Twp., Susan H. (Timothy) Abbott, Franklin Park and Sandra D. (Henry) Sergey, Plantation, FL; grandchildren Jonathan Abbott, Jason Sergey, Lauren Abbott, Matthew Sergey and two great grandchildren. Also surviving are her siblings, Elsie Warriner, Mercer, H. Neville Breck, Valencia and step brother Leon Claypool, Leechburg. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, C. Clifford Harvey, a sister Willavene Wiley and brother Thomas Breck. Visitation 2-4 and 6-8PM Thursday in the Duster Funeral Home, Inc. 347 E 10th Ave, Tarentum, 724-224-1526. Service will be held in St. Paul''s Church, Buffalo Twp. Friday at 11AM with Rev. Shawn W. Smith, her pastor officiating. Burial in St. Paul''s Cemetery, Buffalo Twp. EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH. Family suggests contributions to St. Paul church or Good Samaritan Hospice of Wexford.
