James E. "Jim" Conley, 68, of Frazer Township, passed away Sunday, May 29, 2016, at his home, surrounded by his family. He was born April 7, 1948, in Harrison Township, a son of the late Donald and Anna (Flenner) Conley. Jim was retired as a licensed practical nurse, working in a nursing home, and also was retired from PPG Industries paint division as a lab technician in Springdale and Allison Park. Jim was of the Methodist faith and was president of Frazer Township Sportsman Club, where he enjoyed trap shooting. A graduate of East Deer High School, and Lenape Vo Tech for his nursing degree, Jim also attended Lees-McRae College, Banner Elk, N.C., where he played football. An avid hunter and fisherman, he also enjoyed woodworking and the outdoors. Jim is survived by his wife of 28 years, Judith A. (Fulton) Conley; children, Jennifer L.(Raymond) Seelnacht, of Polk, Pa., Cathi M. (Kenneth) Speers, of Natrona Heights, and Charlene A. (Lawrence) Kurpakus, of Middlesex Township; grandchildren, Dylan and Tyler Seelnacht, of Polk, Jessie and Matthew Spears, of Natrona Heights, and Anna and Evan Kurpakus, of Middlesex Township; also one great-grandson, Jaxon James, son of Dylan Seelnacht, of Polk; also surviving, his siblings, Anne Miller, of Plum, and William Conley, of Frazer Township. He was preceded in death only by his parents. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 1, and from 9 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 2, in the DUSTER FUNERAL HOME INC., 347 E. 10th Ave., Tarentum, PA 15084, 724-224-1526, where services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday with the Rev. Daniel B. Lawrence, pastor of Murrysville Alliance Church, officiating. Interment will be in Prospect Cemetery Brackenridge.
