Elizabeth L Singer

Elizabeth L. (Finch) Singer, 67, formerly of Natrona Heights, passed away Thursday, May 12, 2016 at UPMC St. Margaret Hospital, Pittsburgh following a lengthy illness. She was born July 20, 1948 in Lower Burrell; daughter of the late William and Ann (Guinta) Finch. Elizabeth lived most of her life in Natrona Heights. She was a homemaker and also taught English in a number of local area schools. Elizabeth graduated from Burrell High School and Slippery Rock College. She loved her animals and enjoyed reading. She especially loved her family, children and grandchildren. Survivors include her son, William "Bill" (Samantha) Singer, Natrona Heights; grandchildren, Bailey, William and Jarrod Singer, Natrona Heights. Also surviving are her cousins, Marlene Watkins, Pgh. and Dana (Ray) Whitesell, Greensburg. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her son, Joseph M. Singer in 2013. A Celebration of Elizabeth''s life will be held on Sunday from 2PM until the time of the service at 4PM with Rev. Robert B.
