Randy Lynn Nelson

Randy Lynn Nelson, 62 of Fawn Twp, passed away Saturday, May 7, 2016 at Shadyside Hospital, Pittsburgh. Born Aug 26, 1953 in West Hamlin, WV, a son of the late Dennis H. Nelson, and Coleen (Courts) Nelson living in Baldwin. Randy has lived the past 28 yrs in Fawn Twp, prior to that Baldwin. He worked in the Sanitation Dept at the former H.J. Heinz Co, DelMonte-Heinz, and Bay Valley Foods in Pittsburgh. Randy was a Christian, he loved his dogs, enjoyed shopping, going to flea markets, Watching T.V. Westerns, and was very interested in Politics. Randy loved the outdoors, hunting and fishing.Besides his Mother He is survived by his wife of 29 yrs, Sarah K."Sally" (Durkac) Nelson, a step daughter whom he raised, Jennifer Durkac of Jersey Shore, Pa. 3 grandchildren Jayden, Piper and Blake Green. His siblings, Sandy (Rob) Klein, Bethel Park, Danny (Kathy) Nelson, Pgh. and Dennis (Karen) Nelson, West Palm Beach, FL; nephews Sean Nelson, Travis Klein and Matthew Nelson and nieces Nikol Klein and Breanna Nelson. Randy was preceded in death by his father only. Visitation 2-4 and 6-8PM Wednesday in the Duster Funeral Home, Inc. 347 E 10th Ave, Tarentum, 724-224-1526 where a Blessing Service will be held Thursday at 11AM with Rev. Thomas L.
