LaVina R Geracia

LaVina R. Geracia, 63, of Natrona, passed away Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at home following a lengthy illness. She was born April 17, 1952 in Allison Park, daughter of the late Fernando Semprevivo and Juanita (Semprevivo) Baker. LaVina has lived in the area her entire life where she was a Custodian for Highlands High School. She was of the Christian faith and a 1970 graduate of Highlands High School. LaVina enjoyed cooking, camping and being a homemaker. She especially enjoyed her family, children and grandchildren. Survivors include her children, Terry L. Geracia, Jr., Natrona, Rhonda Geracia, Altoona and Keri Rousch, New Kensington; grandchildren Ronnie Rousch, Corey Hayden, Diamond Geracia, Wesley Geracia, Clay Evelyn, Michaela Abbi Gayl Reed. Also surviving are her siblings, Douglas (Marlene) Shirey, Darlene (Robert) Fairman, Melanie Shirey and Catherine Shirey Chruscik. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Terry L. Geracia, Sr. 2013. Granddaughter LaVina Evelyn and 3 brothers Timothy Shirey, Sr., Thomas Shirey Sr. and Carl Shirey. Visitation 2PM until time of service at 6PM Friday in the Duster Funeral Home, Inc. 347 E 10th Ave, Tarentum, 724-224-1526 with Rev. Harold M. Mele, Jr., officiating. Burial will be Private.
