Walter Mamula,88 of Natrona Heights,passed away Friday,April 1,2016 at Allegheny Valley Hospital Natrona Heights .He was born in Pgh April 18,1927,A son of the late Vladimer and Theresa(Steinbauer) Mamula,Walter lived in Saxonburg,and Valencia prior to Natrona Heights.He was a supervisor for North Pittsburgh Telephone Co. for 39 yrs,retiring in 1994, and served in the Army during both WW#2,and Korea. Walter was a member of Natrona Heights Presbyterian Church,and the Loyal Order Of Moose,and his hobbies included doing wood working ,dancing,but he especially enjoyed being with his grandchildren,and entire family.He is survived by his wife of 22 yrs. Linda S. (Perroz) Mamula,a stepson David L. (Michele)Spencer,Jr. of Natrona and Grandchildren,Phoenix Kelly, Ashlyn and Tyler Spencer, his God Daughter Alyssa McDaniel and his 2 dogs Heidi and Buffy . Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a sister,Marion Novak,and brothers Robert,Donald,and Paul Mamula.Visitation will be Mon,April 4th from 2-4 & 6-8 PM in the Duster Funeral Home,Inc. 347 East 10th Avenue,Tarentum,Pa. 15084 (724)224-1526 where a service will be conducted Tuesday at 11AM with his Pastor Rev.
