William C. Wagner, 87, of Frazer Township, passed away Saturday, March 12, 2016 at Saxony Health Care Center, Saxonburg. He was born July 31, 1928 in Harrison Twp., son of the late Laurence W. and Alma (Wolfe) Wagner. William lived most of his life in Frazer Twp. and also lived in Crystal River, FL for 15 years. He was a Lab Technician for 30 plus years at Gulf research, Harmar Twp. A veteran of the US Air Force serving in the Korean War era and of the Protestant Faith. William was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Tarentum and the Moose of Crystal River, FL. He graduated from Har Brack High School and enjoyed gardening, bowling, golf and sports. William especially enjoyed his family. Survivors include his children, Mark W. Wagner, Buffalo Twp., Brian C. (Amy) Wagner, Natrona Heights, Craig H. Wagner, Baltimore and Tracy J. (Clayton) Hockenberry, Frazer Twp.; 6 grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and 1 step great granddaughter. Also surviving is a sister Joyce Hazlett, NJ and daughter in law Kathy Wagner, Seven Springs. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Jo Ann (Harnish) Wagner, a son Bruce A. Wagner and two brothers, Laurence and Clarence Wagner. Chapel Service will be held Saturday, March 26 at 11AM at Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell with Rev. Harold M. Mele, officiating. A Wake service immediately following at Tarentum Eagles, 204 Wood St., Tarentum, PA 15084.
