Terrence L "Terry" Conroy

Terrence L. Conroy, 69, of Tarentum, passed away at home on Wednesday, February 24, 2016. He was born June 14, 1946 in Harrison Township, son of the late John P. and Marie M. (Malkowiak) Conroy. Terry lived in Brackenridge and in Tarentum since 1969. He was the President of General Press Corporation in Natrona Heights where he worked for 50 plus years, member of Holy Martyrs Church, Tarentum, School Board member at St. Joseph''s High School, Alumni Council of St. Vincent College, Knights of Columbus Natrona Council, River Forest Country Club, Pastoral Council of Holy Martyrs and was a former Summit Hose Fireman. Terry graduated from St. Joseph High School in 1964 and St. Vincent College in 1968. Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Deborah M. (Kalwarski) Conroy; children, Kristen (Greg) Coulter and Jennifer (Simuel) Howell, both of Adams Twp.; his grandchildren Ellie, Jenna, Gwen and Ian; his siblings, J. Patrick (Mary Ann) Conroy, Latrobe, Timothy L. (Judi) Conroy, New Kensington, Gary A. (Judy) Conroy, Allegheny Twp., Kevin J. (Diane) Conroy, Brackenridge and Michele C. (Scott) Robinson, Tarentum. Also surviving is his Mother in law, Eleanor Kalwarski, Tarentum, sister in law Judy (Jim) Shelly and brother in law Michael (Carlene) Kalwarski. Visitation 6-8PM Saturday and Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8PM in the Duster Funeral Home, Inc. 347 E 10th Ave, Tarentum, 724-224-1526. Christian funeral mass will be celebrated Monday, February 29, 2016 at 10 Am in Holy Martyrs Church, Tarentum with Archabbot Douglas Nowicki, OSB, officiating. Burial will be at Our Lady of Hope Cemetery, Frazer Twp. Family suggests contributions to St. Vincent College, Latrobe or St. Joseph High School, Natrona Heights in Memory of Terry L.
