Samuel Skufca Jr

Samuel Skufca, Jr., 59, of Tarentum, passed away Wednesday, February 24, 2016 in Good Samaritan Hospice after a brief but courageous battle with cancer. He was born April 24, 1956 in Natrona Heights, son of the late Samuel and Catherine (Gregurich) Skufca, Sr. Samuel lived most of his life in the New Kensington area. Sam enjoyed hunting, fishing and was a member of the Tarentum VFW Post 5758. He will be sadly missed by his longtime friend Deborah Carnathan, with whom he resided. Survivors include his sisters Sharon (William) Crilley, Catherine (Skufca) McAllister, Tina (Skufca) Nolan and Tammy (Michael) Graff, all of Lower Burrell. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by nephews, William R. Crilley, Shawn Crilley and a niece Shannon Crilley. Visitation 5PM until the time of service at 7PM Friday in the Duster Funeral Home Inc, 347 E 10th Ave, Tarentum, with Pastor Robert Johnson, of the Church of Christ Tarentum, officiating.
