Anthony R "Tony" Orsini

Anthony R. "Tony" Orsini, 78, formerly of Arnold, passed away at home on Friday, February 12, 2016. He was born March 31, 1937 in Pittsburgh, son of the late Nunzio and Adeline (Buzzelli) Orsini. Tony has lived most of his life in Arnold and most recently in Tarentum. He was employed for Equitable Gas Co, for 43 ½ years. A veteran of the US Army and member of Grace United Methodist Church, Natrona Heights. Tony graduated from Schenley High School in 1954 and was a volunteer for Ar-Ken Rens, he was a football coach and was also an umpire for little league. Survivors include his wife, Rowena M. (Coffman) Orsini; his children, Kimberly (Orsini) Marinack, Pgh., Doreen (Orsini) Lazzaro, Pgh, Anthony R. (Jodi) Orsini, Pgh. And Tammie (Orsini) Horwatt, Lower Burrell; step children Nadine (Dave) Brown, Valparaiso, IN, Colleen Gagliardi, Virginia Beach, VA, Frank (Kerry) Coffman, Lower Burrell, Kim Braswell (Shrader),Charlotte, NC and Terri Hill (Shrader), Vandergrift. Also surviving are 16 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Vivian Onorato. Visitation 3-8PM Sunday in the Duster Funeral Home, 347 E 10th Ave, Tarentum, 724-224-1526 and Monday from 10AM until the time of service at 11AM with Rev. Thomas Bracken, Pastor Community Life, Tarentum officiating. Full military honors by Tarentum VFW Post 5758. Burial will be Private.
