Betty Lou Adams

.Betty Lou (Simon) Adams, 85, of Fawn Township, passed away Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at Wesbury United Methodist Community (Grace Health Center), Meadville, PA where she resided the past three years. She was born March 14, 1930 in Rossiter, PA to the late Joseph and LaRue (Brumbaugh) Simon. She has lived most of her life in Fawn Township. Betty Lou took care of her husband during his 7 year battle with cancer. As a homemaker she loved to cook and sew. Her pet dog Tushu, was a comfort to her in recent years. Survivors include her step daughter Dr. Roberta Lee Adams Schrall and husband, Don of Meadville, PA; grandchildren, Julie Schrall Stump and her husband Coleman, Richmond, VA; Laurie Schrall LaPorte and her husband Michael, Kailua, Hawaii; Heather Adams Wolf and her husband Joe, North Huntington, PA; Jessi Marie Adams and her companion Rich King, North Versailles, PA and Michele Adams, Tarentum; great grandchildren Sabrina Adams, Madalyn King and Landon Adams; nephew Joseph Simon, Hyndman, PA and Cheryl Smith, Birmingham, MI and a daughter in law Nancy Adams, Tarentum. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Robert Lee Adams; step son David Lee Adams, and her siblings Joseph Simon and Dorothy Simon Smith. Visitation 1-3PM Saturday in the Duster Funeral Home, Inc. 347 E 10th Ave, Tarentum, 724-224-1526 where a blessing service will be held at 3PM. Burial will be private in St. Mary Cemetery, Yatesboro, PA.
