Marie A Glogowski

Marie A. Glogowski, 94, formerly of Natrona, passed away Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at Bayberry Place Assisted Living, Lower Burrell. She was born October 31, 1921 in Natrona; daughter of the late Stanley A. and Marie P. (Zebrowski) Wrobel. Marie has lived most of her life in Natrona where she was a member of St. Ladislaus Church, Natrona. Marie worked for PPG Glass, Creighton, and Civil Service in the Army. Navy and Air Force. She also worked as a Secretary for Westinghouse EMD/Curtis Wright, Harmar Twp. for 27 years. Marie enjoyed attending the opera with her husband Sam, listening to music, reading, spending time with her family and friends and keeping up with all her nieces and nephews activities. Survivors include her nieces and nephews, Kerryn (Ed) McMeans, Fairfax, VA, Gregory (Cindy) Markwell, Falls Church, VA, Marie (Gary) Wilken, Vandergrift, Robert (Jill) Markwell, Pgh, Dr.Kevin (Kim) Markwell, Annapolis, MD, Melanie (Jim) Thomas, Natrona Heights, Ted Wrobel, Jr., Surfside Beach, SC, Douglas (Gayle Heyners) Valigursky, New Kensington and Denise Graziano, Davidson, NC and Dominick Graziano, Pittsburgh, Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Sylvester "Sam" Glogowski; sisters Sophie Valigursky Atkinson and Florence Markwell and brothers Stanley and Ted Wrobel, Sr. Visitation 4-8PM Friday in the Duster Funeral Home, Inc. 347 E 10th Ave,Tarentum, 724-224-1526.
