George Mudrinich,87 of Frazer Twp,passed away Sat,Jan 9,2016 at St.Margaret Memorial Hospital,Pgh. Born May 16,1928 in Harwick a son of the late Nickolai and Julia (Molnar) Mudrinich he lived the past 55 yrs in Frazer Twp.George was a Bus Driver for the Port Authority Transit in the Pgh area for 38 yrs,retiring in 1989. A member of Holy Martyrs Church in Tarentum George was an avid reader especially of the Civil War. George was a story teller of the Civil War battles,and enjoyed taking his family to various battle sites including Gettysburg. He enjoyed working in his house and doing yardwork.He is survived by his wife of 63 yrs. Bernadette J.(Pater) Mudrinich,his children,Diane L. Fajbik of Natrona Heights,and Timothy S. and (Kim) Mudrinich of Lower Burrell. Grandchildren,Justin (Sarah) Fajbik ,Greensburg, and Melissa (Joe) Dimsho, Lower Burrell. Great Grandchildren, Parker Fajbik, and Austin and Jordan Dimsho.His siblings,Daniel (Patricia) Mudrinich , Bessie Mudrinich,and Mary Kilgore all of New Kensington. Donna (Jim) Randolph,Florida, Eli Mudrinich Columbus,Ohio.Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a son George A. Mudrinich in 1996, 1 brother,Peter Mudrinich,and 2 sisters,Sophie Mudrinich,and Mildred Hall.Visitation will be Tues,Jan 12 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM in the Duster Funeral Home,Inc.347 East 10th Ave,Tarentum,Pa15084 (724)224-1526 where a prayer service will be conducted on Wed at 9:20 AM followed by a Christian Funeral Mass at 10AM with his Pastor,Rev.Thomas L.
