Alice F Betasso

Alice F. Betasso, 84, formerly of Freeport, passed away Sunday, Dec. 20, 2015, at Fair Winds Manor, Winfield Township. She was born Oct. 6, 1931, in Rural Ridge, daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Laurent) Ricail. Alice has lived the past two years at Fair Winds Manor, and prior to that, Freeport. She was a homemaker and of the Catholic faith. Alice graduated from Freeport High School in 1949. Survivors include her daughter, Barbara M., of Ohio; sister, Mary Miller, of Natrona Heights; niece, Donna Miller; and three nephews, Michael (Cheryl) Miller, of Saxonburg, Jeff (Wendy) Miller, of Natrona Heights, and Joseph (Sandy) Garvey, of Indiana. Also surviving are her special friends, Mary Lou Rehak and Glenn Larimer. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Louis Ricail and Leona Garvey. All services and interment were private in Mt. Airy Cemetery, Natrona Heights. Arrangements are by DUSTER FUNERAL HOME INC., 347 E. Tenth Ave., Tarentum, 724-224-1526.
