Larry G. Wiedl, 68, of Buffalo Township, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, Nov. 28, 2015, at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh. He was born Aug. 25, 1947, in Harrison Township, a son of the late Francis J. Wiedl and Kathleen V. (Bain) Wiedl Miller. Larry has lived the past 15 years in Buffalo Township and Natrona Heights prior to that. He was a production operator for PPG, Creighton and Ford City for 32 years. A member of Most Blessed Sacrament Church, Natrona Heights, Tarentum Elks, social member of Natrona Heights VFW and Brackenridge American Legion. A 1965 graduate of Har-Brack High School, Larry enjoyed hunting, walking his dogs, playing cards and playing darts. Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Diana L. (Benik) Wiedl; his children, Todd L. (Dawn) Wiedl, of Fawn Township, Douglas J. (Gisel) Wiedl, of Sulphur, La., and Renee K. Wiedl, of Freeport; grandchildren, Trenton, Kody and Tessa Wiedl; great-granddaughter, Kendall; step-grandchildren, Keirrie, Cody, Bruno and Adrian; and step-great-granddaughter, Rylah. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Keith P. Wiedl. All services and private interment will be in Our Lady of Hope Cemetery, Frazer Township.
