Alice Iwanski, 91, formerly of New Kensington, passed away Sunday, Nov. 1, 2015, at Saxony Health Care, Saxonburg. She was born June 25, 1924, in Brackenridge, a daughter of the late Stephen and Mary Weremeychik. Alice lived in Dalton's Edge Tarentum for six years, and prior to that, most of her life in New Kensington. Alice was a dietary aide for 16 years at the former Citizen's General Hospital in New Kensington. She attended St. Mary Roman Catholic Church, New Kensington, since 1951. Alice graduated in 1942 from Har Brack High School and attended Robert Morris Business College for two years. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, crocheting and was an avid Pirates fan. Survivors include her daughter, Mary Ann (Tim S.) Cornuet Sr., of Tarentum; grandson, Tim S. Cornuet Jr., of South Buffalo Township; and two great-grandchildren, Kamryn and Macey Cornuet, of West Deer Township. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Iwanski, in 1971; and a sister, Olga Fedrinka. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in the DUSTER FUNERAL HOME INC., 347 E. Tenth Ave., Tarentum, 724-224-1526. A parting prayer will be held at 9:20 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home followed by a Christian funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Mary Roman Catholic Church, New Kensington, with the Rev. John S.
