Amelia C. Vecchi, 90, of Natrona Heights, passed away Sunday, Nov. 1, 2015, at Rebecca Residence of Concordia, Allison Park. She was born Oct. 13, 1925, in Russellton, West Deer Township, daughter of the late Antonio and Severina (Correndo) Rocchietta. Amelia has lived in the local area her entire life where she was a homemaker. She was also a founding officer of J.V. Manufacturing in Natrona Heights, where she was also the original secretary and treasurer for 20 years. Amelia was a member of Our Lady of the Most Blessed Sacrament Parish, Most Blessed Sacrament Church, Natrona Heights. She enjoyed needle work, reading, gardening and she especially enjoyed her family. Survivors include her husband of 66 years, John C. Vecchi; her sons, John M. (Valerie) Vecchi, of Buffalo Township, Alan M. (Karen) Vecchi, of Fawn Township, and James A. Vecchi, of Pittsburgh. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Jeremy (Sarah) Vecchi, of Chicago, Ill., Ryan (Melissa) Vecchi, of Mars, Joshua Vecchi, of Louisville, Ky., and Katherine Vecchi, of St. Louis, Mo.; and two great-grandchildren, Riley Rose and Rocco Vecchi, of Mars. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Elvina Sakuluk, who passed away just 10 hours prior to Mrs. Vecchi on Oct. 31, 2015. Visitation will be from 3 to 5 and 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in the DUSTER FUNERAL HOME INC., 347 E. Tenth Ave., Tarentum, 724-224-1526. A private Christian funeral Mass for the family, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Most Blessed Sacrament Church, Natrona Heights. Entombment will be in Mt.
