Christine Derewicz, 90, of Natrona, passed away Friday, Sept. 25, 2015, at Good Samaritan Hospice of Concordia, Cabot. She was born Sept. 10, 1925, in Natrona, daughter of the late John and Casmira (Wotjok) Krzeminski. She has lived her entire life in Natrona where she was a homemaker and member of St. Joseph Parish, St. Ladislaus Church. Christine enjoyed dancing at the New Kensington Eagles, crocheting, playing cards and bingo. She especially enjoyed her family. Survivors include her daughters, Patricia L. (Edward) Albera, Upper Burrell, and Conleth (Francis) Ciesielski, Still Pond, Md.; granddaughter, Cheryn (Gary) Turner, Baltimore, Md.; and great-grandson, Jayce Turner, Baltimore, Md. Also surviving is a sister, Sophie Rapp, New Kensington. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John F. Derewicz, in 2001; grandson, Edward Alan Albera, in 1991; two brothers, Joseph Kwaitkowski and Daniel Krzeminski; and two sisters, Violet Marciniak and Stella Burke.
