Robert R Hileman

Robert R. Hileman, 69, of West Leechburg, passed away at home Monday, Sept. 14, 2015. He was born Nov. 29, 1945, in Kittanning, a son of the late Clair and Mildred Hileman. Robert has lived in West Leechburg since 1980 and prior to that Logansport. He was employed as a Hot Mill/Wet Grinder for 38 years at Allegheny Ludlum Steel Corp., West Leechburg. He was a Vietnam veteran serving in the Army. He was of the Catholic faith and a graduate of Ford City High School. Robert enjoyed fishing and hunting but most of all enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Frances C. (Gibson) Hileman; sons, Hal (Renee) Hileman, of West Leechburg, and Raymond (Cheryl) Hileman, of Allegheny Township; his grandchildren, Kristi (Matt) Bellas, of North Carolina, and Erica Hileman, of Allegheny Township; and his great-grandchildren, Ashton, Arianna and Gavin Bellas. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, James Hileman and Ada Kudelka. At the request of Mr. Hileman, all services will be private.
