Patricia M Becker

Patricia M. Becker, 93, of Lower Burrell, passed away at home Wednesday, May 31, 2017 after a brief battle with cancer. She was born January 25, 1924 in Crafton, daughter of the late John and Laura. Patricia lived the past 18 years in Lower Burrell and prior to that Natrona Heights. She was a homemaker and also worked as a school nurse for Highlands School District for 23 years. Patricia was a member of St. Margaret Mary Roman Catholic Church and Faith in Action of her church. She graduated from Crafton High School, Mercy School of Nursing and received her Bachelor''s in Nursing from Indiana University of PA. Patricia also volunteered for Meals on Wheels. Survivors include her children, Robert J., Natrona Heights, Barbara G. (John), State College, Richard P. (Charlene), Freeport, Laura G., Lower Burrell and Michele M. (John), Houston, TX. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Dylan, Courtney, Nicole, Taylor, Kane and Cole and one great grandchild Brooklyn. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by husband William G. Becker in 1967, son William J. Becker in 1979 and a brother Jack in 1989. Visitation 2-4 and 6-8 PM Friday in the Duster Funeral Home, Inc. 347 E 10th Ave, Tarentum, 724-224-1526. Christian funeral mass will be celebrated Saturday at 10 AM in St. Margaret Mary R.C. Church, Lower Burrell with Rev. Kenneth Zaccagnini, officiating. Burial in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Tarentum.
