Edwinna V (Couch) Clay

Edwinna V. (Couch) Clay, 98 formerly of Fawn Twp passed away, Sun, April 9, 2017 at Waynesburg Health Care Center. She was born May 21, 1918 in Arcadia, Pa, Indiana County, a daughter of the late Charles and Rose (Mann) Couch. Edwinna has lived the past 20 years in Waynesburg and prior to that most of her life in Fawn Twp. She was a homemaker and member of First Baptist Church, Waynesburg and a former member of Wesleyan Methodist Church, Tarentum. Edwinna enjoyed painting, sewing, crocheting, reading, gardening and flowers. Survivors include her daughter with whom she made her home for many years, Charla A. (Eugene) Miller, Jr., Waynesburg, son in law Michael F. Glasgow, Buffalo Twp., grandchildren, Scott Cressley, Tarentum, Leigh Ann (Barry) Wagner, Brackenridge, John Prager, Pittsburgh and Ruth Prendergast, Youngstown, OH, 4 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren. Also surviving are sisters Georgetta Wixson, Gilford, NH and Donna (Edward) Lannigan, Rome, NY. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Charles E. Clay in 1988, daughter Barbara J. Glasgow, Dec. 4, 2016 and 4 sisters Isabelle Gifford, Mary Clemons, Ethel Betush and Irene Kirkpatrick. Visitation 2-4 and 6-8 PM Wednesday in the Duster Funeral Home, Inc. 347 E 10th Ave, Tarentum, 724-224-1526 where services will be held on Thursday at 11 AM with Rev. Mary Jo Gould, officiating.
