Patrick S "Pat" O'Connor

Patrick S. "Pat" O''Connor, 58, of Buffalo Township, passed away at home Wednesday, March 15, 2017. He was born February 3, 1959 in Pittsburgh, son of Nellie "Mary" (Maliski) O''Connor, Buffalo Twp. and the late Francis O''Connor. Pat has lived in Buffalo Twp. the past 27 years and prior to that Penn Hills. He was a Journeyman Lineman for 30 years for both Duquesne Light and Tarentum Boro. Pat was of the Catholic faith. Member of the White Star, Freeport and it''s golf league. Member of IBEW Local union 126 and SNPJ. He graduated from Penn Hills High School in 1977 and enjoyed golfing, reading and traveling on his motorcycle. Pat was a member of a softball league for many years and known by his friends as "TWA". Pat helped many family and friends and was known for his generosity. Survivors include his wife of 29 years, Jody L. (Adams) O''Connor; children Maureen C. (David) Funkhouser, Oak Ridge, NC and David F. O''Connor and Erica Carson, NY, NY. Also surviving are his siblings, James (Barbara) O''Connor and Thomas (Jeannie) O''Connor both of Penn Hills, Anna Marie Konetes, Wilmington, NC, Daniel O''Connor, St. Petersburg, FL and Timothy O''Connor, Penn Hills. Visitation 2-4 and 6-8 PM Friday in the Duster Funeral Home, Inc. 347 E 10th Ave, Tarentum, 724-224-1526 where services will be held on Saturday at 1PM. Burial will be private.
