Nell Norris

Nell Flick Norris, 93, of Tarentum, passed away Monday, March 13, 2017 at home. She was born September 28, 1923 in Tarentum. Daughter of the late W. Edward and Sara (Waltenbaugh) Flick, Sr. She has lived her entire life in the area where she was a Proof Reader for the Valley News Dispatch in Tarentum for many years. Nell was a member of First United Presbyterian Church, Tarentum. She enjoyed golf, reading, traveling and cruising to Canada and Bermuda. Survivors include her children, Jeffrey D. (Marilyn) Stull, Vandergrift, Rebecca Sallade, Tarentum, Kristine (Kelly) Ruggles, Spokane, WA and Paul C. Norris, Tarentum; 3 granddaughters Aaryn and Alyse Ruggles and Kayla Stull. Also surviving is a sister Sally (Bernard) Clover, AZ. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Homer W. Norris, brothers, W. Edward Flick, Jr. and Walter J.L. Flick and sisters Jane Burkett and Eleanor Arnold. Private family visitation was held, however family and friends are invited to attend a Service Saturday, March 18 at 11AM in the Duster Funeral Home, Inc. 347 E 10th Ave, Tarentum, 724-224-1526.
