Amy Sue (Fredley) Shuffler, 50, formerly of Charlotte, NC, passed away Sunday, February 12, 2017 at West Penn Hospital, Pittsburgh after her courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. She was born April 12, 1966, daughter of Deloris M. (Harvey) Fredley, Buffalo Twp, and the late Alvin E. "Ike" Fredley. Amy lived the past 26 years in Charlotte, NC where she was a Music Teacher for 23 years at Lansdowne Elementary in the Charlotte Mecklenburg School District. She graduated in 1984 from Freeport High School, PA and received her degree in Music Education from Grove City College in 1988. She was a member of Sharon Forest Baptist Church, Charlotte, NC where she was a pianist. Amy loved playing the piano and organ which was her specialty. Amy''s many students, relatives and friends will miss her sweet smile, warm hugs and friendly disposition. Besides her mother, she is survived by her children, Christopher Kyle and Sydney Nicole Shuffler, Charlotte, NC who were the loves of her life. Also surviving are her siblings, Marlene D. (Gerald) Bundy, Winfield Twp., Robert A. Fredley, Ebensburg, Dale E. (Susan) Fredley, Mars and David C. (Sherry A.) Fredley, Buffalo Twp. and Franklin E. Shuffler, Charlotte, NC.
