Henry L Geahry

Henry L. Geahry, 84, of Tarentum, passed away at home Wednesday, February 8, 2017. He was born June 7, 1932 in New Kensington, son of the late Fred E. and Margaret (Goldinger) Geahry, Sr. Henry lived most of his life in Tarentum and was of the Presbyterian Faith. He was Foreman for Conrail, in Western PA for 30 plus years. Henry was a veteran of the US Coast Guard and a 1950 graduate of Har Brack High School. He enjoyed traveling, reading western novels and spending time with his grandchildren. Survivors include his wife of 63 years Eileen (Sims) Geahry; children Kathie A. (Calvin) Phillipo, Ft. Worth, TX, William T. Geahry, Tarentum, Jeffrey L. (Josephine) Geahry, Ford City, Susan E. (Randall) Hudson, Tarentum and Barbara J. (Doug) Krebs, Lower Burrell. His grandchildren, Rebecca, Stephen, Patrick, Matthew, Shannon, Nicholas, Victoria, Caitlin and Jeremiah; great grandchildren Baylee and Lucian. Also surviving is a brother James (Carol) Geahry, Brackenridge. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by brothers, Fred. Jr. and George Geahry and Sisters Ann Critchlow and Peggy Gustafson. Private family visitation Friday 6-8 PM in the Duster Funeral Home, Inc. 347 E 10th Ave, Tarentum, where services will be Saturday at 1PM. Burial in Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell.
