Daniel D "Dan" Stabile

Daniel D. "Dan" Stabile, 34, of Horseheads, New York, passed away Sunday, January 22, 2017 at Altoona Trauma Center, resulting from injuries when hit by an automobile while biking in State College. He was born November 9, 1982 in Syracuse, NY, son of David J. Stabile, Horseheads, NY and Moynelle Stabile, Syracuse, NY. Daniel lived most of his life in Horsehead, NY where he worked in the Food Service Industry in the Horseheads, NY area for a number of years. Dan was of the Catholic faith and graduated from Horseheads High School, NY in 2003. He was an avid boater and bicyclist. Besides his parents he is survived by his sisters, Lara (Kevin) Leo, Central Square, NY and Katherine (Ryan) Kimble, Delaware. Uncle Thomas J. Stabile, Natrona Heights, and aunts Rita (Gary) Miller, Butler and Patricia (Robert) Pahmeier, Myrtle Beach, SC. He was preceded in death by an uncle Daniel Stabile. Visitation 2-4 and 6-8 PM Wednesday in the Duster Funeral Home, Inc., 347 E 10th Ave, Tarentum, 724-224-1526 where a prayer service will be held at 9:30 am Thursday followed by a Christian Funeral mass at 10 am in Holy Martyrs Church, Tarentum with Rev.
