Melissa Sue Brumbaugh

Melissa Sue Brumbaugh, 50, of Tarentum, passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at Mercy Hospital, Pittsburgh. She was born May 14, 1966 in Ford City, daughter of the late Wallace E. and Anna P. (Cousins) Brumbaugh. Melissa has lived in the area all her life where she was a homemaker and was also employed for a time at Unifirst in New Kensington. She was a member of the Tarentum Eagles and a graduate of Highlands High School. Melissa enjoyed Facebook and was an avid Steelers fan. She especially loved her family and her grandchildren. Survivors include her companion of 12 years, Melvin L. Bouch, Jr., Tarentum; her children, Kara Brumbaugh (Lawrence Battle), Creighton, Kelsey Negley (Brandon Price) Oakmont and Timothy Negley, Natrona; grandchildren, Lakia Battle, Creighton and Brandon Price, Jr., Oakmont. Also surviving are her siblings, Walter (Tammy) Brumbaugh, Concord, NH and Connie (Tom) Bopp, Arnold. Visitation 2-4 PM and 6PM until the time of service at 7PM on Saturday in the Duster Funeral Home, Inc. 347 E 10th Ave, Tarentum, 724-224-1526 with Rev. Dennis L. Bouch, officiating.
