Edward W. Horm, III, 67, of Tarentum, passed away Thursday, December 22, 2016 at Aspinwall VA. He was born January 6, 1949 in Rockville, MD, son of the late Edward W. and Raydell Horm, II. Edward has lived in Tarentum since 1980. He retired from Allegheny County Public Works as a Civil Engineer. He was a Vietnam veteran serving in the US Army as a Specialist and was awarded the Purple Heart. Edward was a member of DAV and a model railroad enthusiast. He enjoyed building model railroads and photographing trains. Survivors include his sons, Edward W. Horm, IV, Arnold and Richard J. (Heather) Horm, Buffalo Twp.; granddaughters Amber, Tara and Brianna and grandsons Matthew and Ryan. Also surviving are his siblings John (Patricia) Horm, Annapolis, MD and Elaine (John) Maltese, FL and 3 nephews.
