Mary H (Kocon) Skowronski

Mary H. (Kocon) Skowronski, 95, formerly of Natrona Heights, passed away Monday, December 19, 2016 at Bel Air Nursing and Rehab, Lower Burrell. She was born August 9, 1921 in Amy, PA, daughter of the late Ludwig and Josephine (Pacella) Kocon. Mary has lived most of her life in Natrona Heights where she was a homemaker and a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, Natrona Heights. Mary enjoyed cooking, especially cookies for various events. Survivors include her children, Delores A. "Dolly" Sowinski, Washington Twp. and Charles S. (Stacey) Skowronski, South Buffalo Twp.; grandchildren, Nicholas and Jenna Skowronski, Ciara Herbst and Matthew and Michael Sowinski; great grandchildren William and Charles Skowronski and Michael, Megan and Monique Sowinski. Also surviving are her siblings, Adella "Della" Derringer, Tarentum, Joseph Kocon, Saxonburg, and Edward Kocon, Natrona Heights and 16 nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Stanley C. Skowronski; Sisters Helen Kocon and Genieve Basar and brothers Stanley, John and Frank Kocon and a son in law Raymond M.
