Harold J. Becker, 71, of Harrison Twp., passed away Friday, December 16, 2016 at Life Care, Harrison Twp. He was born February 18, 1945 in New Kensington. Son of the late Charles and Hazel (Farneth) Becker, Harold has lived most of his life in Brackenridge and was of the Baptist faith. Harold graduated from New Ken High School and attended Duquesne and graduated from Robert Morris College with a Business Management degree. After graduation from college Harold worked as a salesman for Keddie Chevrolet. He then became district manager for Boron Oil Company training new station managers. He then began working for Fisher Scientific Co as a customer service rep, collection manager and became a supervisor. He worked for Fisher for 25 years and retired when they relocated his job to Atlanta in reorganization, .Fisher offered him a position in Atlanta but he turned it down not wanting to leave his family here in PA. Harold was an avid Stock Car Racing enthusiast. Survivors include his children, Charles L. (Shari) Becker, Upper Burrell, Sher''i D. Smith, Brackenridge, Brandi L. Becker, Tarentum and Ginni M. (Mark) McGregor, Brackenridge; 8 grandchildren Krystal Becker, Kelsey (James) Peacock, Tabitha and Brittney Smith, Kylie Locchetta, Lanie Black, Kierstin (Scott) Cunningham and Shawn Howells; great grandchildren Logan and Carter Cunningham and Alyssa Peacock. Also surviving is his former wife and best friend Kimberly Ann (Kepple) Bowen, Tarentum; sisters Sandie Greene, Brackenridge and Maxine (Larry) Ross, FL and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a son Shawn R. Becker, Brother Charles Becker and mother in law Barbara Kepple.
