Alvin E. "Ike" Fredley, 80, of Buffalo Twp., passed away Tuesday, November 29, 2016. He was born September 11, 1936 in West Deer Twp., son of the late James A. and Grace A. (Ekas) Fredley. Ike has lived most of his life in Buffalo Township and was a District Crew Leader for Equitable Gas Co., Pittsburgh for 36 years, retiring in 1992. A member of Buffalo Presbyterian Church, Buffalo Township and a 1954 graduate of West Deer High School. Ike enjoyed traveling; dancing, golfing and he especially enjoyed his family. Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Deloris M. (Harvey) Fredley; children, Marlene D. (Gerald) Bundy, Winfield Twp., Robert A. Fredley, Ebensburg, Dale E. (Susan) Fredley, Mars, Amy Sue Fredley, Shuffler, Buffalo Twp. and David C. (Sherry A.) Fredley, Buffalo Twp.; 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Also surviving is a brother Loyal W. (Theda) Fredley, West Deer Twp. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a brother J. Clair Fredley. Visitation 2-4 and 6-8 PM Friday in the Duster Funeral Home, Inc. 347 E 10th Ave, Tarentum, 724-224-1526. Services will be held on Saturday at 11 AM in Buffalo Presbyterian Church, Buffalo Twp. with Rev. Jean E. Smith, officiating. Burial will follow in Buffalo Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
