Leila R (Morrison) Lawrence

Leila R. (Morrison) Lawrence, 92, of Tarentum, passed away at home on Wednesday, November 2, 2016. She was born August 6, 1924 in West Homestead, daughter of the late Oscar and Helen (Mort) Morrison. Leila has lived the past 40 years in the area and was a homemaker. During WWII she worked in the manufacturing industry. She was a member of the Salvation Army, Brackenridge and enjoyed church and the Community Life Center in Tarentum. Survivors include her granddaughter, Keri Vanderpool, Pittsburgh; 2 cousins, Deborah Thorpe Roberts, OH and Jack Thorpe, Braddock. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Larry Lawrence and 2 children, Linda and David Lawrence. All services for Leila were private.
