Josephine "Josie" Knasko

.Josephine "Josie" (Trujillo) Knasko, 87, formerly of Natrona Heights, passed away Sunday, September 25, 2016 at Good Samaritan Hospice, Cabot. She was born November 21, 1928 in Universal, PA; daughter of the late Jose and Maria (Ortiz) Trujillo. Josie lived in Natrona Heights since 1971 where she was a homemaker and also worked at Wendy''s Restaurant, Natrona Heights, Brackenridge Heights Country Club and the Yorktown Inn. She was a member of Holy Martyrs Church, Tarentum and a former member of Natrona Heights VFW Auxiliary and Christian Mothers of her church. Josie enjoyed traveling and her animals. She especially enjoyed her family, children and grandchildren. Survivors include her son, Gregory (Patricia) Carchidi, Lower Burrell; 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandsons. Also surviving are her siblings, Andrew Trujillo, Monroeville, Frank Trujillo, Penn Hills and Rose Lynch, AZ. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard "Ben" Knasko in 2004; daughter Juanita Clever in 1994 and her siblings, Joseph Trujillo and Maria Guzman. Visitation 2-4 and 6-8 PM Wednesday in the Duster Funeral Home, Inc. 347 E 10th Ave, Tarentum, 724-224-1526 where a prayer service will be held on Thursday at 9:30 am followed by a Christian Funeral Mass at 10 AM in Holy Martyrs Church, Tarentum, with Rev.
