Star A Powell Hayden

Star A. Powell Hayden, 19, of Tarentum, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, September 11, 2016 as a passenger in a vehicle in Marionville, PA. She was born January 18, 1997 in Harrison Township, daughter of Lionel T. Hayden, Tarentum and Tywanda A. (Powell) Hayden, Brackenridge. Star lived most of her life in Tarentum and was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church, Brackenridge. She was employed as a cashier for Little Ceaser Pizza, Lower Burrell and a 2015 graduate of Highlands High School. Star enjoyed cheerleading, dancing, acting and performing. Besides her parents as above, survivors include her siblings, Jaque Headen, New Kensington, Samuel and DeVaughn Mitchell, both of Brackenridge, Channell Hayden, Brackenridge, Ashlyn Hayden, Tarentum and Zayda Griffin, Brackenridge. Paternal Grandmother, Sharon Hayden, Tarentum, and Maternal Grandfather, Alex T. Powell, Jr., Brackenridge and a number of nieces and nephews also survive. Star was preceded in death by Paternal Great Grandfather Lloyd D. Hayden, Sr., and Paternal grandfather Lloyd D. Hayden, Jr., paternal grandmother Vivian Carter and maternal grandmother Josephine D. Powell.
