Damian A. DeSanto, 49, of Natrona Heights, passed away Friday, September 09, 2016 in the E.R. of Allegheny Valley Hospital, Natrona Heights, unexpectedly of apparent heart failure after becoming ill at home. He was born August 24, 1967 in Harrison Township, son of Elaine R. (Matsik) DeSanto, Brackenridge and the late Ralph A. DeSanto, Jr. Damian lived the past 3 years in Natrona Heights and prior to that Valencia. He was a mechanical engineer for General Motors in Warren, OH and BPMI, Bechtel Plant Machining, Monroeville. Damian was a member of Our Lady of the Most Blessed Sacrament Parish, Most Blessed Sacrament Church, Natrona Heights, Springdale Sportsman Club and River Forest Country Club, Allegheny Township. He graduated in 1985 from Highlands High School, University of Pittsburgh and received a Master''s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Akron. He enjoyed coaching girl''s basketball and was an avid golfer. Besides his mother he is survived by his wife of 26 years, Michele L. (Stephens) DeSanto; daughter Julia M. DeSanto, at home and a sister Nicole A. (Sam) Jones, Brackenridge, an Uncle, David J. DeSanto, Brackenridge and several other aunts and uncles surviving along with a niece and nephew, a number of cousins and many friends.
