Joseph Podolinsky

Joseph Podolinsky, 81, of Tarentum, passed away Thursday, September 8, 2016 at Good Samaritan Hospice, Cabot. He was born March 21, 1935 in Tarentum, son of the late Martin and Elizabeth (Chovanes) Podolinsky. Joseph lived in the area his entire life and was a Lab Technician for U.S. Steel, Monroeville for 25 plus years. He was a Korean War veteran serving in the USMC and member of Holy Martyrs Church, Tarentum. Joseph graduated from Tarentum High School and enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening. Survivors include his nieces and nephews, Michael S. (Lisa) Lovasik, Ross Twp., Michelle M. (Richard) Byers, New Castle, James (Mary Ann) Stoffel and Kathy (Randy) Sobotka, both of Gibsonia and 4 great nephews and 2 great nieces. Besides parents he was preceded in death by two sisters, Betty Lovasik and Wilma Stoffel. All services for Joseph were private.
