Andrew D. Pometo,Jr. 82 of Frazer Twp passed away Saturday,August 13,2016At Logan Place,Lower Burrell,where he was a resident the past 5 months.Born April 21,1934 in Tarentum a son of the late Andrew D. and Olga L. (Artowsky) Pometo,Sr. Andrew lived in Frazer Twp his entire life,and graduated from East Deer Frazer High School, and was in maintenance at the former Glenshaw Glass company. A veteran of the Korean Conflict serving in the Army,he was a member of Holy Martyrs Church in Tarentum,and was an avid golfer and bowler,and enjoyed auto racing and bingo.Andy is survived by a sister,Marcia (Joseph) Sabat of New Kensington,and a brother Thomas A. (Karen) Pometo of Frazer Twp,and a number of Nieces and nephews.Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife, Ida (Durnovich ) Pometo,his second wife,Helen (Hughes) Pometo, 3 brothers, Robert,Lawrence,and Richard Pometo,and 2 sisters, Josephine Bodick,and Mary Jane Kustra.Visitation will be Monday Aug 15th from 2-4PM and 6-8 PM in the Duster Funeral Home,Inc. 347 East 10th Ave,Tarentum,Pa15084 724-224-1526 where a prayer service will be held Tuesday at 9;15 AM followed by a Christian Funeral Mass at 10 AM in Holy Martyrs Church with his pastor Rev, Thomas L.
