Adam N. Klabnik, 91, formerly of Fawn Township, passed away Wednesday, May 31, 2023 at Chautauqua Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Dunkirk, NY. He was born December 16, 1931 in Tarentum, PA to the late John V. and Mary (Gaydos) Klabnik. Adam lived 80 years in the local area and NY for the past 10 years. He retired from PPG Industries, Creighton. Adam was a veteran of the US Army and was a member of Guardian Angels Parish, Most Blessed Sacrament Campus, Natrona Heights. He graduated from Clinton High School in 1950 and enjoyed chicken farming, was a volunteer at AVAC and bus driver for Roenigk’s bus garage.
Survivors include his wife Verna Jean (Rowles) Klabnik and numerous nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his siblings, Mary Slavkovsky, Julia Rapsinski, John, Ambrose, Anthony, Raymond and Joseph Klabnik.
Visitation will be 3-7 PM Sunday in Duster Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc. 347 E 10th Ave, Tarentum, 724-224-1526. Christian funeral mass will be celebrated Monday at 10 AM in Most Blessed Sacrament Campus, Natrona Heights. Burial will follow in Bull Creek Cemetery, West Deer Twp with military honors.
