Alan J. Dorn

Alan J. “AJ” Dorn, 67 of Brackenridge passed into eternal life on May 31, 2026, after a prolonged illness. At the time of his death, he was a resident of We Care of Mt. Lebanon, PA. He was the third child born to Raymond J. and Mary Jane (nee Groszkiewicz) Dorn.

Alan was a lifelong resident of Brackenridge. At the time of his retirement Alan worked as a shipper at ZOLL Life Vest, Pittsburgh, PA. He was a member of the American Legion Post 226, Brackenridge, PA.

He is survived by his spouse Cindi Hawk Dorn of Lower Burrell, PA; sons Matthew Dorn of Washington, PA. and Colby Dorn of New Kensington, PA; daughters Morgan Dorn and Lexi Dorn both of Lower Burrell, PA; brother Bill Dorn of Pittsburgh, PA. and sister Susan Kraynak of Latrobe, PA. along with many cousins. He is also survived by his longtime companion Traci Alworth. He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Mary Jane Dorn.

Per Alan’s final request, there will be no viewing or services. The family suggests memorial contributions be made in Alan’s memory to an organization of one’s choice. May Alan’s memory be a blessing to all who knew and loved him.
