Alan L. Karadeema

            Alan L. Karadeema, 41, of Natrona, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, June 3, 2023 as a result of an automobile accident in Allegheny Township. He was born September 12, 1981 in Harrison Township to Laura J. Karadeema, of Natrona and the late Alan C. Mele. Alan lived his entire life in the area and was of the Catholic faith. He enjoyed camping, fishing, bowling and artwork. Alan was an avid Steeler fan and especially enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

            Besides his mother he is survived by his children, Mason Rice-Karadeema and Amara Rice-Karadeema; his siblings, Bruce Karadeema and fiancée Candy Yockey, of Vandergrift, Wayne Karadeema, Chris Karadeema and Starr Karadeema, all of Natrona, Daniel Mele, of Cabot, Shawn (Jessica) Mele, of Lower Burrell and Michael Mele, of Leechburg. Paternal grandmother Lillian (Miller) Karadeema, of Natrona. Also surviving are many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides his father he was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Kenneth W. Karadeema, maternal grandmother Mary Kaminisky and uncle Douglas P. Karadeema.

            Visitation will be 2-4 & 6-8 PM Wednesday in Duster Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc. 347 E 10^th Ave, Tarentum, 724-224-1526 where a blessing service will be held on Thursday at 10 AM.
