Albert J. “Al” Lorenzini, Sr., 86, of Natrona Heights, passed away Friday, March 5, 2021 at Allegheny General Hospital, following a lengthy illness. He was born March 20, 1934 in Tarentum to the late Bruno and Emma Louise (Maltagliati) Lorenzini. Al has lived the past 55 years in Natrona Heights. He was a Mechanical Technician for Westinghouse Electric in Cheswick, where he retired in 1997. Al was veteran of the US Air Force serving during the Korean war. He was a member of Guardian Angels Parish, Most Blessed Sacrament Church, Natrona Heights and a 1952 graduate of Tarentum High School. Al enjoyed taking walks, and was an avid Pirates, Steeler and Notre Dame fan. He especially enjoyed his family, children, grandchildren and great grandson Anthony.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Doris J. (Fink) Lorenzini; his children Valerie A. (John) Lucas, of West Norriton, PA and Albert J. Lorenzini, Jr., of Natrona Heights; grandchildren Austin Lorenzini, of Freeport, Emma Lorenzini, of Natrona Heights and great grandson Anthony Jakosh. Also surviving are his siblings, James B. (Sandra) Lorenzini, of Natrona Heights and Karen L. (Auggie) Fucci, of Norman, OK. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by 2 sisters Rosalie Gainor and Esther Ameel.
Visitation 6-8 PM Sunday in the Duster Funeral Home, Inc. 347 E 10th Ave, Tarentum, 724-224-1526. Christian funeral mass will be celebrated Monday at 10 AM in Most Blessed Sacrament Church, Natrona Heights. Burial will be in Our Lady of Hope Cemetery, Frazer Twp. VISIT: dusterfh.com
