Alice M. (Kersten) Boyle

Alice M. (Kersten) Boyle, 90, of Kittanning Township, passed away Monday, August 11, 2025 at Concordia, of Cabot. She was born June 11, 1935 in Harrison Twp. to the late Dwight and Martha M. (Hought) Schreckengost. Alice lived the past 28 years in Alabama and most recently Kittanning Township. She was a homemaker and of the Lutheran faith. Alice was a member of Tarentum Eagles and a graduate of the former Har Brack High School. Alice enjoyed crocheting, cooking, baking, blue grass festivals, traveling and her camp in Oil City.

Survivors includer her children Matthew R. (Cheryl) Kersten, of Kittanning, Dwight E. (Yvonne) Kersten, of Saxonburg, Cindy M. (Patrick) Nixon, of Tionesta, Lisa E. (William) Devlin, of Lower Burrell, Alice J. (Joseph) Mangol, of Allegheny Twp., and James A. (Barbara) Boyle, of Camp Hill, AL. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren and a sister Joyce Bobonick, of Cabot. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband Norman Kersten in 1988, second husband George L. Boyle in 2024, son Timothy G. Boyle and her brother Raymond Schreckengost.
